Damon Braces

Damon braces are passive self-ligating braces that do not need elastic or metal bands to hold the brackets in place. Damon braces have many advantages over other types of orthodontic braces. The high-technology wires used in Damon braces move teeth faster into the desired position. The teeth can move comfortably since there are no metal ties. You can also brush your teeth without any discomfort and there are no ligatures to catch food particles. The treatment causes less discomfort and pain because teeth extraction and the use of palatial expanders are avoided. Headgear is also not required. The disadvantage with Damon braces is that the brackets are slightly bulky and the treatment tends to be more costly than conventional braces.
